Recording sounds?

Hi all,

I'm new, please don't shoot.

Basically, I have a quirk whereby whenever I get a new phone, I record all 12 original Street Fighter II theme tunes from the SNES game onto my phone. I play it straight out of my telly, and every phone I have had has recorded it clean and lovely and use them all for ringtones.

My HTC Desire doesn't seem to be able to do this. I tried Voice Recorder and it was horrible and crackly. I downloaded VirtualRecorder and I couldn't work out how to save a recording or look at my SD Card to see if they were there.

This is incredibly sad as the game is 20 years old, but I ****ing loved that game dammit. I miss Balrog's stage tune.

Can anyone help?

Try the app Tape Machine, very high quality recording.

Or just get an mp3 of the sound effects and put it onto the phone instead of recording it.
