Recover data from password locked SGS5 with broken screen

Hi all, is there any way to recover data from a Samsung galaxy S5 which is password protected and has a smashed screen? Tried adding a keyboard to enter password but it doesn;t seem to be working.... MOst of my photos were backed up to the memory card but I'd like to see if I have any videos on it and then restore it so I can recycle it

Any suggestions welcome

Okay I am now thinking it's not possibe, so how do I factory reset the phone? I have tried but when I plug it back in it still displays my name so I am guessing it has not factory reset...?
