Recover deleted s note templates

Hi all

New to forum. Just bought note 10.1 2014 edition and I'm really loving it.

However, I have stupidly deleted the S Note Templates so I was wondering is there any way of getting them back without having to do factory reset?

Can someone please help, thanks in advance.

A factory reset REMOVES changes you've ADDED to the phone, it doesn't reinstall the original firmware.

About the only thing you can do is a) root the tab and b) install a deleted file recovery app. Oh, and c) keep your fingers crossed that doing all that doesn't overwrite the very files you want to recover.

(Or you can reinstall the whole ROM, which you should be able to find at SamMobile Firmwares )

There must be an easier way to restore the templates.

I have a friend with the same tablet. Is there way to copy and/or download them from their tab to mine?
