How to recover SMS and Contact from Android phone on Mac?

If you've erased them and have no backup then I don't think you can. They were on a partition the Mac can't see (nor could a PC).

If you sync your contacts with Google (the default) then they will be safe in your Gmail account and can just be resynced.

If you just mean copy them, the easiest for contacts is to just "export" contacts from your phone book. This gives you a vcard file, which you can copy to the Mac. And an SMS backup app could be used in the same way.
