Help Recover the deleted files Samsung Galaxy S5

By mistake I deleted several images from my Galaxy S5. I tried using remo and various other software to recover the deleted photos but they are not detecting the connected phone. After burning a few hours on google I got to know that:

1. Android 4.x has only MPP and camera mode. It can't be converted to USB mode.
- Software detects the drive and NOT the portable devices. So anyhow it has to be converted to USB drive.
- I have already tried by putting the phone to USB Debugging mode but its of no use.

2. I can't root it. It doesn't allow.

I badly need the pics to be recovered. Any suggestion would be valuable to me.

Thanks

Hey there,
My SD card got corrupted a couple months back and I really wanted to recover my pics and important things, I got almost all of it back.... check this link out, it might be able to help recover you pics/files... I don't know if it will work for deleted files but it's worth a shot :)

[FIX] Corrupted SD Card

uh...I believe you have to loot phone if you want to let the software can detect you phone, or the software has no authority to access and scan your phone.
if the photos you lost were in SD card, you just simply use the way in this blog http://deleted-photos-recovery.blogspot.com/2015/04/recover-photos-and-videos-from-samsung.html I think it can do the trick.

Hope can help. good luck

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Joined hoping I'd find answers here. I have the exact same problem as 'ankitbhatia'.
I've tried every little thing. Watched videos on youtube and everything. for every way I need to recover it, nothing does it because my phone needs to be rooted. I tried the towel one and is not safe, my security app already alerted me of malware before I would run it. I tried wondershare Dr. Fone, and it was going to root it for me, but it didn't at the end it told me that I have to do it so it can analize it.
I accidently deleted those pictures and videos that were in my camera folder just recently and I tried using an app, it didn't recover my recent ones, just a few of my old ones that I didn't even need anyways. I'm running out of patience and hope.
Please help me out here. Sending a huge S.O.S. sign in the air! :( Thank you.

P.S.: I don't have an SD card, so is all data loss.

Once a file is deleted, the Directory Entry to locate that file in memory is gone.
There is no way to recover it, because none of the apps have ROOT access to the phone's memory.

Unless the phone was already rooted when the files were erased, it is a wasted effort....
Rooting the phone, taking pictures, reading/writing emails, sending/receiving SMS messages. All of those actions will overwrite the memory space where the files used to be.

File Directory Structures are just pointers into memory where an app can start reading a message. Once that directory structure is gone, it is "sorry charlie".... nearly impossible on a cellphone because it is always working and storing new data... that new data overwrites the stuff that used to be where your old files were....
