Help Recovering deleted data

I had Uninstalled Facebook messanger almost a month ago, and upon doing so, ES file manager had asked if I wanted to delete the excess data, when I went to hit no, it instead hit the yes button, and everything in that folder was deleted

I had some important .txt files in that folder, and I have been searching high and low for a way to recover it, but nothing seems to be working or finding it

I have freed up a buncha space, as I use my phone daily, hoping that there is still a way to recover the lost data
 
You say they were txt files? If that's the case there's a very good chance they are gone for good. The only Facebook files I know of that aren't saved in the Facebook folder are images you've manually saved from Facebook. They are located in your DCIM folder.

I hope you're able to find what you're looking for.
 
Yeah, I stupidly stashed it in the Messanger folder, thinking it would be relatively safe.... At this point, any app or program that can try to restore txt files would be of great help

EDIT: for some off reason, I guess while trying a bunch of apps last night, this 'dumpster' folder popped up, looks like it has almost 3000 deleted files in there

Thing is, the txt files I'm looking for, used to be pictures, Ichanged the format via ES file Explorer to hide them, now I'm not too sure if can be recovered
 
Did this resolve ur issues ?
Go back to ur stored files and try switching those files back to .jpg or .jpeg should help you out...

You can try the latest version of Diskdigger.apk from play store that seem's to recover a great deal of things. Hope this helps out. let us know thank you
it works just about on any of my phones it seems to work great but I do believe you have to be rooted for it to work. Please search for root over at the root section for you phone for root capabilities. As for I feel you will receive better assistance over rooting of your make of phone..

Update :
I have been collaborating with the mods and other member's on this topic.
I now understand over fair reasoning and respects to the original creators apks that I have posted to be removed :)
I won't post anymore apks! in forums but I will recommend them for now on.
As always do ur own research before downloading anything..

When errors or needing better assistance Taking Screen Shots always the best way of showing rather than explaining Pictures Says many of words
