I'm using CardRecovery to find some old deleted videos and photos of a friend that passed away. Odd problem is that when I use the product, it finds freeze frames from the videos, but not the videos themselves. Has anyone else heard of such a thing happening? I was wondering if someone could explain to me why this is happening.

The files have gotten corrupted since they were deleted. Recovery of deleted files is iffy at best.
The best way to recover files is to use PhotoRec - CGSecurity if the device the files re on can be mounted to a computer. It doesn't depend on the file system of the device or the listing of the file in the device's directory. (If you haven't written anything to that SD card, you can still try PhotoRec on it - just put the card into a card reader and plug it into the computer.)
