Help Recovering s memo backups

I've had my phone doing various backups for almost 2 years.

This morning when I attempted to view my s memos, nothing was found.

I have never had to figure out how to restore files here before.

I didn't delete any files... so I don't know why they are gone.

Can someone point me to steps to recover my memos?

I did some additional investigation and it appears that a folder exists on my phone that contains the memos.
The last I used the memos was a week or so ago.
Why would the application suddenly not see the files?
