I will try to keep this updated everytime a new recovery comes out, again keep in mind it is not necessary to have to upgrade or update, I am simply posting it for those who like to always be up to date

[Recovery][2011/06/11] Latest Unofficial ClockworkMod (4.0.0.2) This is the latest ClockworkMod 4.x Recovery image for the CDMA Hero. I compiled it myself using the code from the CyanogenMod repository. While I don't specifically know of any reason it should be considered unstable, you should realize this is built from bleeding-edge code.

Do NOT flash this if you don't know what it is or what you're doing. You should have a working knowledge of how to get back to a stable recovery through the bootloader if something goes wrong. You have been warned.

Wow. ClockworkMod Recovery version 4.0.

I still have ClockworkMod Recovery version 2.5 on my Sprint HTC Hero. Haha.

note: if you flash this make sure to do a back up before and after you flash it. if you dont and something goes wrong it will not let you restore back to a back up you made with 2.5.

Yes it will - I am on it and had to Flash back to my original stock to update PRL.
worked just fine.
