All,

Welcome to Clockwork Mod v6.0.2.7. This can be used on a rooted Virgin Mobile HTC Evo V. This has been tested using the Stock Virgin Mobile HTC Evo V 4G after rooting the phone. The phone still has S-On currently, and no other changes have been done to it.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK​

Install
Code: 
$ adb reboot bootloader
$ fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
$ fastboot boot recovery.img

Loved your Triumph work and happy you moved to evo v. There is currently a 6.0.1.4 CWM and it works ok. Most ppl are using TeamWins recovery or EXT4 or something like that. What has changed from your 6.0.1.9 from the 6.0.1.4?

Thanks sir! Not 100% on the changes for .4 to .9. This was built from the jellybean branch as of today so it's more recent. Seemed to work just fine as I had no issues reading SDCard or moving through the menus. I have not tested old back ups or restores which have been a problem in the past to moving to a newer versions of CWM. Mind you I have no backups so I can not test this out. However it seems to be working properly from my test.

Now we have more recovery options. CWM, TWRP, and 4ext are the ones I know now. I have 4ext btw. :)
 
I used CWM on my OV and Touchpad but I switched to 4EXT when I got the Evo V and just recently changed to TWRP on my Touchpad. Don't think I'll be going back to CWM if I don't have to :P

I hear good things about you G60 even though I was never in the Triumph scene. Hope you stick around for a while :P

Same here, we lost some good users to the nexus but at least we got a great dev by the sounds of it:thumbup:

I stuck with the Triumph for over a year, right now I have a phone with ICS, working hard keys that don't stop working for no reason and a 3D camera to boot! Yeah I don't plan on going anywhere for some time. While I would love a nexus I just can't justify it. But $100 off on a solid piece of HTC hardware, that sir I can :D

Thanks man! I hope I can rock the HTC half as well as I did the Triumph :D will see if I can't get a ROM booting tonight.

I have rebuilt and redesigned the device recovery files for Clockwork Mod. I have also done full test to make sure backup and restore work properly. Everything seems to be working proper!! I am currently running s-off and also using joe_blow's flash to HTC EVO V 4G "Firmware" that is contains: Virgin updates From the 1.14.652.0 OTA (Over the Air) Radio + Firmware & jBear hboot 1.50.5050.

I know everyone likes 4ext a lot better but my hopes are to get the restore files approved by koush so we will have our own recovery listed on Clockwork Mod site and also touch screen version.

Edit: Also tested doing a restore from 4ext backup and it worked perfect.
