Same here. If you cant read instructions, DON'T DO IT! simple as that.
 
Ok this is probably my first post but I got a big problem. When I boot into Philz-recovery my screen is black. I'm sure im in recovery because it vibrates when I press the screen. I've tried flashing ADB, but didn't fix the problem. I can't recall any installs or anything that could have caused the problem. It just something random. Because the official roms not floating around i'm not sure what to do. Any ideas? Maybe someone can do a dump of the official rom? But then i'm not sure how i could install it back to Factory shipped. Help! i'm stuck till 4.4 OTA if i cant figure this out.

You could either download this factory stock rom that is flshable from stock recovery

Or you could try the unbrick tool which will install PhilZ Recovery

I am very new to flashing devices and im having trouble restoring my phone to factory restore my phone is completely wiped without CWM. I need to know how to install CWM on my device because im kind of confused. Idk which version to download for my device because when I use the zip file it aborts the install (update thru external sd)

If you are just trying to get your device back to full stock, check the post above yours in this thread. There is a stock rom that you can flash from stock recovery. In that same post is a link to a tool that will install PhilZ recovery if that is what you are after. Make sure you read the instructions carefully on everything.

I was browsing through the philz settings one day and find out the black screen issues it is actually a gesture and to
Activate/deactivate you simply swipe left 😃 sent using my n9520 deodexed
 
If you are trying to flash it using stock recovery, that is why you are having an issue. You can't do that. You will need to follow the instructions in the OP to install this recovery.

HEY IM TRYING TO FLASH THE STOCK ROM USING STOCK RECOVERY BUT I GET ERROR assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "stormer" || getprop("ro.build STATUS 7 AND PLUS I CANT ACCES TO SETTINGS SO I CANT ENABLE UNKNOW SOURCES AND I CANT OPEN THE PLAYSTORE EITHER IT CRASHES THE UPDATE TO KIT KAT WENT WRONG AND NOW I CANT DO ANYTHING I HAVE USB DEBUGGING ENABLE SUPOSTLY BUT MY PC WONT RECOGNIZE IT AS ADB ITS LISTED AS ZTE HSUSB DEVICE ONLY IF IM N SIDELOAD MODE AND I CANT GET IT INTO FASTBOOT MODE EITHER I TRIED TO FLASH PHILZ BURNING THE CD BUT IT ACTUALLY WENT INTO RECOVERY MODE BUT THE SCREEN ITS JUST BLACK DO U HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT I TRIED EVERITHING IF I ONLY COULD FLASH PHILZ OR ENABLE UNKNOWN SOURCES I COULD INSTALL FLASHYFY AND IT WOULD REALLY EASY TO FIX BUT I CANT IM SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH PLZ ANY IDEAS
