Recreating the perfect beast: from Galaxy SIII to Moto X Pure

Hi.
The little icon on Motorola's build site, says "Device Being Built" and so I am salivating like 5th grader for the next Halo release. So now I am down to brass tacks.

I want to clone as much as I can from the configuration of my last device. (Samsung, Galaxy 3, model SGH-1747) to my shiny new Moto X pure edition. I spent a lot of time getting it just right.
Here are the essentials

OLD PHONE: INTERNALS
-Galaxy III, Model SGH-1747 for AT&T, Unlocked for use with MetroPCS
-Rooted with cwm root from recovery
-Originally flashed with cyanogenmid 11
-Flashed back to stock jellybean
-SIM chip

PROGRAMS IMPORTANT TO ME:
Quick boot
Nova Launcher
Classic text messenger, ( I really like the green, and yellow on black classic text app, and had to tweak this to make that happen. it's just cleaner)
No-frills CPU controller (No absolute proof this even does anything at this point)
Titanium backup
DNS hostname changer
ES file explorer
Rings extended, (Unless it has a simple "choose notification" function for my custom sounds)
Super SU
Towelroot

QUESTIONS:
1: What will the easiest way be to duplicate this configuration on my new phone?

2: What is the status of bloatware, overclocking, and possible rooting on this phone

Any suggestions, including telling me where I am not understanding some of the newer functions of the Moto X Pure edition, are welcome.

thanks!

1. Your apps, as you are likely aware, are retained in Google Play under your account. Once you log in with the new phone, you can download what you want to the Moto X Pure. No need to re-purchase anything. Keep in mind: if you choose to root this phone, Android Pay will not work! It will not run on rooted devices!

2. No bloatware at all. It's straight stock Android, with a few Moto enhancement apps that actually enhance functionality. You can unlock and root the phone, but not sure what your motive would be considering there is no bloat to remove. As far as overclocking, I really think you'll find it unnecessary as this is a smooth, fast phone out of the box.

Hope this helps. You're gonna love this device! :)

Man, that rocks. Going from my old LG, to my Samsung Galaxy S3, I practically became a full time rooting student, with all the bloatware, and apps I couldn't get to work, with those models.
is this related to this expression I keep hearing lately, "Pure android experience"? meaning no company bloat?

Thanks for the wise counsel.

I mentioned Android Pay and I love it. Just unlock the phone and pay. No need to go into the app. If it's available where you are, it's great! I also love Pushbullet, that pushed files and notifications to your PC wirelessly. I have the Huawei Watch paired with my Moto X Pure, so Android Wear is a necessity for me. Other than that, just install the apps you want, knowing that you no longer NEED to root this phone to get it the way you want it.

Hi.
The little icon on Motorola's build site, says "Device Being Built" and so I am salivating like 5th grader for the next Halo release.

I hate to be the bubble-burster here, but be patient concerning the timeline from order to delivery, and take MotoMaker updates with a grain of salt. Some have received phones in as little as 3 days, other have been waiting 3 weeks. Even when it leaves Motorola, there's been frequent delays with FedEx. I had 2 orders, the first was delayed and delivered in 8 days, 3 days after the estimated arrival, my second order was delivered in 3 days... probably has to do with the availability of features like memory and color.

So salivate all you want... just don't hold your breath. And maybe pray you're one of the lucky ones to receive your phone before the estimated delivery! You will enjoy this XPE!

Thanks! I won't cry tears of disappointment. I gotta say though, their little sliding icon order status is designed to addict you, and I go there three times a day, because i like looking at my "Device being built" icon. lol.
thanks again.

Correct. NO COMPANY BLOAT. No NFL Mobile, no VZ Navigator, no Candy Crush... nothing but a few Moto apps that I love and use.
Just when I thought after years of "Smartphone Nerdvana" I was getting jaded, along comes the Moto X Pure!

More excited than I've been in a long time, this gem of a phone has really captured my full attention. Closer than ever to my ideal phone, without even seeing one in person I'm thrilled with so much of what comprises this new model.

I'm not even counting down the days till arrival, lest I set myself up for disappointment. No... instead I'm savoring every moment of the wait, the anticipation, the fun of knowing when this baby arrives I'm going to have lots of fun. :D
