Recurring Facebook events in Google calendar problem

Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible RI import Facebook calendar into Google so that recurring events are actually recurring and not simply stretched between start and end dates?

I'm using an Xperia z1 compact with stock 5.0.1. And any calendar app I try imports Facebook events via url import in Google calendar. This works great for stand alone events, but if an event is recurring (say weekly), it is stretched between the start and end dates as a whole day event. This is really annoying as I'm forced to copy these events (and changes) manually, if i want a complete schedule.
Facebook itself shows recurring events correctly, including calendar on desktop and app reminders, only google calendar integration seems to be wrong.
Any ideas? Apps that manage this maybe?
Thanks!

i tried this app but no luck...
i've tried using a webcal account sync - it provided a new calendar in google but still the same: recurring events are not recurring, they're registered as a single VERY long event...
anyone else has this problem?

So I did a little extra digging. Turns out Facebook doesn't have recurring events. It gives you the ability to copy an event or simply make an event extra long and leave it to the organizers to give out details.
So, in essence this means that I've misunderstood my problem...
Here's a nice comment describing it pretty well.
The solution it provides is to not accept the invitation, but then it leaves me with the "no event" problem. I could circumvent this by manually adding such events and then manually removing single instances if required... But I was still hoping that 21st century technology might assist instead of creating more work
So, looks like I'm in a pickle lads...

I think this specific thread can be closed and solved. Thanks!
