My phone is the Samsung Epic 4G and I was trying to install the new firmware update FC09 (if I'm not mistaken, this is what it's called). But the thing is, I forgot to unroot my phone before the installation.
Now my screen is stuck with a black screen with a red exclamation mark inside a white triangle, with a blue android logo underneath it. I've seen somewhat similar threads regarding this in here, but none with my exact problem/issue description. I'm tempted to take out the battery to reset it, but the last time I did that with an earlier update (not sure if I got the exact same screen as I have now though), it hard bricked my phone.
So, I would like to get a direct answer for my issue and what should I do with my phone.
