Red Exclamations!

About one week ago when I receive certain text messages (this is not a conversation thread) there are red exclamations attached. So I have searched found some answers, tried them all to no avail. Another issue is I cannot delete any messages either. Any helpful hints would be appreciated. Thanx

If it's a text message those are image files. No need to worry.
Try a different text app

Thx for the reply but it shows only w/one text that comes in. And it's not in the text it's beside the time stamp. Anyway, the other issue that happened around the same time is that I cannot delete messages, neither ones that I send or have received. Feel free to give more suggestions...thank you.

To me, the red exclaimation sounds like someone sent you an MMS message and marked it as urgent.

As for deleting a text message, try longpressing on the conversation and see if any options come up.

Thank you. I did try the long pressing on the conversation and the individual, bug no deletes took place I am sorry to say.
