Redmi 9 Pro Rebooting and app jumping

For the last few weeks my Redmi Note 9 Pro seems to have periods as if someone else is using it by remote. It jumps around from screen to screen and app to app by itself.

It also goes into a series of reboots all by itself which is hard to stop. I did think the finger print button was stuck but I don think it is.

Anyone experienced this please or can comment on it?

I have contacted Xiaomi UK to claim under warranty as only 18 months old but, not heard back yet. Thanks.

Do a factory reset. 1st backup your important files and data.

Many thanks. I did a back up and the factory reset. However, it has not solved the problem. Even when the phone was setting up it went into a reboot loop.

I've registered the issue with UK customer service and hoping to claim under warranty.
