Redmi 7 i(Xiaomi) is quite old, and would have older poorer software I'm guessing. The Redmi Note 9 models have been out nearly a year, the more basic Redmi 9 is more recent and still very good value. They all have upgraded to the latest very good MIUI 12 skin.
If you meant the three Realme 7 models, they are very good value as well. The just superceded Realme 6 models are also very good.
