Help Refuses to send a photo in a message?

I receive photos via text message from people all the time. But whenever I try to send a photo attachment in my text, it just "loads" forever and won't actually send it!

I take a photo with the phone's camera. I navigate to the Gallery and select the photo. I select "Menu" - "Share" - "Messaging." I type in the person's name and click Send. Well, it's been 20 minutes so far and my photo message still has that envelope icon with the red clock, meaning it's still "sending." I had the same problem the only other time I tried to text a photo, and it never actually sent.

What's the deal? Please help!

hi sammi....i have had nothng but trouble with my lg shine since day one but i am not at all a geek and have so much to learn...only thing i like about it is the sliding keyboard...but...i have learned the "trick" for being able to send and receive pics via text...go to settings...then to mobile network settings and be sure enabled is on (green dot) and also in settings...be sure ur wi fi is on..good luck...now...if only i cud learn how not to lose all my texts....when screen freezes up...
