Hi,
I recently bought an octa core device but it will not let me use google play. It says that my device is not registered with google.
How can I resolve this. Android version 5.1

It would help if you told us what device it is, i.e. is it some no-name Chinese brand that never supported the Play Store or something else with a different problem?

Hi I already have a gmail account but the tablet is a Chinese device. Should I be buying a new tablet

Most all Android devices for the Chinese market do not have Google Play Services or Google Play Store installed.
Even if you were able to download the Apps for them, I'm pretty sure that they need to be installed in the system to make them work.
Might be better off looking at other sources for apps. Amazon, Fdroid and APK Mirror.
