Root reinstall stock browser for HTC desire??

Would anyone have an idea where I might be able to find the original stock browser for HTC desire? I have had a look thru this site and others but can't find reference to desire specifically.

I really don't get on with the miui browser, opera or dolphin, the stock was perfect for me, but I didn't realise the browser would be so different after rooting. Being new to rooting and all.

Any ideas?? Thanks in advance

Usually htc Apps for the desire won't work on a non - Sense rom.

Easiest way to try it would be to grab a Sense rom from xda, grab the browser from the zip file and then either copy it into the \system directory if you're S-Off or push it with adb if you're not.

Ah well, worth a shot? So, to confirm, the HTC desire browser is completely inaccessible whilst using ANY other rom?

yeah, something to do with the Sense Framework or something.

guess you need to find another browser ;-)

Or another rom!....not too sure i could be bothered though right now
