Apps Release app using Google Maps API?

Just a quick question here..

Im thinking of making an app that uses the google maps API but im stuck on this question..

Can i release it to market if its using this API or do i need some license from google or something?

You can release it just as any other app--provided you don't go against the ToS provided by Google.
