Although they used the term 'launch', that seems to be the general consensus yes. I suppose we can only really guess how long the gap between the announcement and actual release will be.

I, too, will be buying the day it launches, but I doubt it will be the 9th, because, by now, if it was, the stock would be with the retailers. I'm sure, if that was the case, someone would have leaked the price. My half assed guess, for what it's worth - which isn't much - is November 16th.

Anyone else want to guess?

My personal opinion is that they should release it and upgrade to ics when its available....no harm in that.

You know now that I think about it....the details always said the will make an announcement on November 9th. That doesn't necessarily mean that will release it on that date. Either way I'll be getting one. Taking the prime back today in fact and if necessary I'll just order a transformer from Amazon and return it when the prime launches! I love Amazon! They love me too. Heck I even buy coffee off their website.
