Reliable email!

This is making me crazy... I sort through thousands of emails a day throughout 6 accounts. Two are for work and the other 4 personal. The two work account I only check email on the phone never sorting or deleting.

My problem is that I often have to delete emails 3 or 4 times before they leave my inbox. I don't know if it's a syncing issue? Or an app issue? It's a huge time waster for me. I've tried using the stock email app, jelly bombed email app, aqua mail, kaiten mail, k9 mail, and a few others that I can't remember right now. Happens on all of them, even when I'm connected to WIFI so there is no coverage issue.

Any app suggestions? Or other ways to resolve this? (Other than just not dealing with email on the phone)

You have to tell the main account in settings to delete mail. POP3 and IMAP are slightly different. On the PC.

I have an IMAP account on Aquamail. Long press on the account name and get settings. Use manual settings until you get to the last page. There's a checkbox for configuring options and folders after saving. I should think that most of the better email apps should do the same, but HOW you get to it would be different.

I delete them on the computer, and syncing still picks some of them up on IMAP on the phone.

They are Imap accounts (sorry should have mentioned that) and that setting in aqua mail is checked. I think it's "Expunge when deleting" This thing has been making me crazy for almost a year now.

Then the other setting in Aqua mail is "delete from server immediately"

Maybe I'm just asking the phone to do to much at once
