Firstly hi all,Can any body point me in the right direction ov a reputable, company to send my phone to,to have my screen repaired(uk)iv'e herd mixed reports on companys, good and bad.It is only the glass not the lcd,so I was lucky really.Or even a good source to buy the screen and do the repair myself, the only problem with that is Iv'e herd it's a bit tricky to do.Please help I'm at a loss without it,although it is still working,it's a bit ov a pain

Hello and welcome to the forums Paul - thanks for joining! :D

Did you buy the phone yourself/get it on contract? If so, it could be worth letting HTC/your carrier have it repaired, as it would then still be covered by any warranty. I would hate to think that, at some point down the line, you needed to get a warranty repair on something else and have it refused, as they can tell that the seals have been broken on it :)

i'll add my 2 pence in, the DHD comes with a 2 year warranty (well in the UK it does anyways) and when the capacity sensors went on a particular left spot of the screen it want back to HTC to sort out. now...this took 3 attempts as the 1st 2 couldnt spot any issues (but the 1st one did replace the gps??? lol) anyways, after a chat with the manager, it got a full swapout. seems the htc repair company only runs the device through a test rig and dont actually test the screens...which is useful :P

Cheers guy's I'm sorry to say it is just out ov waranty by about 3 months,Si it needs to be done by a 3rd party,Ive heard so may horror stories about htc and would prefer to find some body else
