I recently decided to retry one of my FAOTD apps, Tasks N Todos pro. It looks pretty good - just the right balance of capabilities to speed - but it has one BIG issue. When entering a task, the entry text is white (on a white background); it's quite unreadable. Once the task is entered, it is listed in black and readable. Since I haven't read of this in the reviews, I'd like to reload the app. How would I do this? Will the Amazon store know that I own this and reload it automatically?

Yep, you can uninstall and reinstall no problem.
If you open the app store, hit the slide out menu, then scroll down to my apps, it lists every app you've installed, including the free apps of the day.
