Root ReLocking error

Hello, I am trying to get my incredible 2 back to stock due to connection issues when i loaded cm10 jelly bean to my phone.

I went through the process of relocking the phone and getting the security warning off. I've got the PG32IMG.zip on my sd card and when i try to flash it it loads. However it reaches and error that says "Main version is older " "Update Fail!" Press power to reboot.

How can I solve this issue. I do not care whether I have to unlock and flash a new rom or go back to stock. I just want a functioning phone again!!

If anything can someone post a good rom to flash onto the phone that would work.

first thing youll need to do is re-unlock your bootloader. you can use your original token,if you still have it. if not, youll need to go thru those steps again and get new token, new unlock code, etc.

once youre re-unlocked,you can either boot back to cm10,or boot to recovery and restore a backup,or flash a new rom.

be aware that htcdev is not able to write to boot from recovery. easiest way to deal with that is to fastboot boot your recovery into phone memory(more info)

once youre up and running again on a stockish rom, unless you need to turn the phone in for warranty purposes,id pretty strongly recomend to downgrade and become s-off. it will make rom flashing and dealing with your phone ALOT easier. since youre allready unlocked, you can use the post 2 directions from here: http://androidforums.com/incredible...y-downgrade-firmware-build-6-01-605-05-a.html

unfortunately, there is not a PG32IMG that you can run that will pass all the security checks, inclusing the main version. youll need to reunlock to get up and running again.
