Remote access without Static IP

So my internet provider Telus dosen't provide static ip addresses without going to a business line. I want to set up remote access to my Linux server at home. I tried with Android-VNC-viewer but need that ip to stay nailed down. So, any buddy successfully find a work around?
Thanks

I have an email into their support group, to see if this will work for me. I can see this being very nice for a corporate situation though.

Dynamic DNS domain sounds like the way for a single home user. Currently looking at afraid.org and no-ip.com as free hosting but dyndns.com offers one for 20$. Don't mind paying the money if it is more stable.

No dlink, currently using a Siemans Gigaset. I have a new router coming from Telus and will check the brand name and it's capabilities.

Thanks to all for your info. After playing around I have remote access. I am using Ubuntu as my remote client. I set up a dynamic DNS at afraid.org and then installed android-vnc-viewer on my phone. It took allot of trying to understand what was needed but to my delight it works and I couldn't be happier. Thanks everybody.
