remote admin / control of android to help mom?

I got my mom an Android .. she is happy .. learning ..

but I see that I will need to help her with this and that in time ..

I am currently far away traveling ..

I am hoping I can admin / help her when she gets stuck .. teach her over the phone new things .. in some remote way ..

any ways to do that?

she has Samsug Galaxy s3 non rooted :/

I'm thinking of any ideas possible ..

IDEA 1 - I guess I can't VNC .. but something similar? maybe auto share of screen shot ..

IDEA 2 - maybe when she connects via USB - some software can read the screen? or let me interact with it?

IDEA 3 - low-end - she can just show me what's on the screen using web cam ..

IDEA N - what else? what do you think?

thank you ..

mom came to visit me for a bit ...

I got her a samsung galaxy s3 ..

slowly she is getting a grasp of it ..

I will not have a chance to teach her easily things once she goes back ..

I'm thinking what would you teach ..

I want to have some reference list ..

* she likes taking pictures and videos ..
* she is OK with google maps ..
* she LOVED to be able to type emails in her native language ..
* even got her a flashlight app..

thank you ...

With my mother, the #1 thing is to turn the phone on

She only turns on her phone to make calls. Never seems to occur to her that people might want to call her :banghead:

Your list looks pretty good to me

I'm assuming calls and SMS are in by default ;)

She's almost certainly going to want to know how to add (and use) contacts

The Google weather and news app would probably be useful

Would she have much need of the calendar?

How about the alarm?

Does she use public transport much? Would some kind of planner for her home town help (assuming there is one)?

How about music / radio?
