Remote control android (local !)

Hi people,

I want to remotely control my android (browse file, send sms, navigate inside the options etc..)

A famous application is apparently AirDroid, I never tested it, but I read every where "you can control you android trough internet" ! that is exactly what I'm NOT looking for !
I want control my android locally (trough usb or WiFi).

So did AirDroid have the capability ?
did you know other remote programs ?

Not sure if this has all you want and it requires a rooted device:
Android Commander

If that is not what you need, perhaps it may help you to find what it is you want

Thanks Mikestony seem a pretty application too !

but what i really need is

*Remotely control the device (see the "desktop" and interact with it like if i was on the device)

*make the connection trough the WiFi is a plus

can Android Commander make the connection trough WiFi ?
