Hello all,

First time here and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on this.

I'm looking to be able to control an Android Tablet from another Android Tablet remotely through the internet on command. This means I would have the "host" tablet connected on a charger in a drawer all day and be able to access it from my personal tablet from anywhere without having to perform some sort of repetitive authorization stuff on the "host" tablet.

I've seen apps like AirDroid and Tablet Remote, but I'm not quite sure they would suit my application.

Any insight or advice offered here would genuinely be appreciated.

Thanks!

What you're trying to accomplish might give us some ideas, because there are ways of doing that if the computer "in the drawer" isn't an Android tablet.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=android.androidVNC&hl=en comes to mind. In fact, combining that with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.onaips.vnc&hl=en might just do it.

As far as the "repetative authorization", that might take some specialized locker or even a ROM rewrite. (Or just an app that keeps the screen from locking if the device is powered? Those are common.)
