Remote Desktop Connection

I have a PC with windows XP on it that I am not sure I can install a client for a remote desktop app. Are there any apps that I can use to connect to the remote desktop connection that XP uses? The few apps I have thought would work seem to require their client to be installed on my pc.

All RDC apps require a client installed on the PC or Mac, afaik.

You may want to try (free) Teamviewer (teamviewer.com).

I use Airdroid. It's free from the Play store and you can use a browser to view your phone - you don't need to install anything on your pc. The browser interface is elegant, though a bit slow.

(Mind you this does not let you run apps from your phone on your computer. But you can access and add/remove files and text message and a few more tasks.)

From what I understand, Airdroid (which I use) cannot be used remotely, but only when both the computer and Android device are on the same wireless network.

I have been using TeamViwer (also mentioned above) and I love it!

Airdroid allows you to access your device from a PC. However, from what I understand from the O.P. he/she is looking for an app to access, and even better, to operate his/her PC from his/her Android device.
That's the other way around. And what Teamviewer does.
