Remote input and output

Hi All, sometime reader, first time poster.

I am searching for an app that is able to access one adroid device from another. By access I don't just mean the ability to open files stored on the device but to use the first device to act as the input and screen for the other device.

I bought a very cheap android tablet that can hardly download anything from the Play Store. I was able to get Angry Birds (seasons and space) but that won't run, it just goes back to the home screen. It will surf the web and Tapatalk works but I want more from a tablet.

What I was hoping to do was use this tablet as the display and input device for my HTC Incredible S's apps and files. Connecting via WiFi or Bluetooth it would turn my currently average tablet into a 10" Incredible S!! I could even mount the tablet in my car to allow easier access to navigation, music, etc.

Any ideas??

Install the Remote Phone Access app from the play store. It's an easy way to access your android phone or even tablet. You will access your device through web browser. It free to download

If i helped you please click thanks.

Thanks for the replies.

What I was looking for was a direct connection via WiFi or Bluetooth between the 2 devices. Remote Phone Access would connect the 2 via the internet. The tablet doesn't have 3G so it can only connect to the internet via WiFi so it wouldn't work in the car (unless I connect the tablet to my phones hotspot to access the internet to then connect back to my phone!?!?!)

I have looked at AirDroid but that seems to be just able to access the "remote" data within a local browser rather than acting like a duplicated screen of the "remote" device.

There are apps such as Remote Control Add-on and Webkey that allow you to remotely control a phone through a web browser. The interface may be a bit clunky when using a browser on another phone.

However, you need to have a rooted phone (the phone that you are remotely accessing needs to be rooted). And from what I've seen, this seems to be the case with all remote control apps.
