Remote to Tablet & Parent Controls

Hello helpers, I have a Sony Tablet in Android 3.x that I would pass to my kids so they can bring it to another International location. In order to help them to install games, as well as preventing them from downloading "bad" games, I need some advice here:

1) Is there any software or App that allow a tablet/Android-phone/PC to remote control the Android Tablet? Again, the end target is the Android tablet which my kid is having in a far away location.

If needs be, I can ask them to initiate a connection from their Android tablet into my PC/Android-Phone, but I need to be able to do things on their end. Mainly to install and uninstall apps.

2) Alternatively, is there any parenting control app (or maybe already in the Android OS) that I can specify what type/categories/tags of games & app that are allowed to be installed.

Of course, this would have to come with a passwords lock, so only the adults can unlock the control eventually.

Appreciate any feedback!
Sean

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, sftong. :)

I can't recommend any apps specifically since I don't use them (my son is 24, so it's a little late for that now ;) ), but there are many parental control apps that can restrict access on a device or account. I did see that SecureTeen offers remote options so you might want to check it out.

Try a few and see if there is one that specifically fits your needs. :)
