Removal from car dock and it powers off?

This has only happened a few times (when i say a few times i really mean that... I put my phone in the car dock basically anytime im in the car) but I'm curious to know if anyone else has had an issue with their Droid powering down or power cycling when they simply remove if from the dock. If this is an issue with my droid only then I need to get a replacement but if not, I'll just handle it and figure its a known issue thats being looked at..

Do you plug it in when you dock it? I know the dock will keep it from sleeping, maybe that's why.

Just curious, do you have power to your droid in the car dock, or are you running on battery? What is the status of your battery when it does the occasional shutdown? Low battery charge may turn off your droid.

Maybe when you pried out the phone you held the power button?
