Root Remove annoying snap-out menu noise.

For those of you who hate the annoying "swoosh" sound when using the snap-out menu, here's an easy way to get rid of it. On Root Explorer, system/app/ ncmchomeapp.apk. Choose "view" . There will be four .ogg files. Simply rename by adding .bak after the .ogg and, voila! Silent Snap-out!

Many of us have replaced the Launcher with GoLauncherEX.
It has so many better features than the original launcher...and it's free.

The original launcher horrible.

I found the sounds under NcmcHomeApp.apk/assets. The only think I can do is extract the files and not change the names.

You need to be rooted to change it, delete it, or rename it.
You do not need to be rooted to install a replacement launcher.

I am rooted. Root Explorer does not give me the option to rename the sound (.ogg) files. Only to extract them.

That's right....I forgot they were part of a package.
I suppose someone smarter than me could extract, replace, and recompile the package to be reinstalled.
