Remove battery percentage from taskbar on ICS?

I just installed the official SOny ICS update on my Xperia U but now i got this battery percentage on my taskbar and was wondering how to remove it, anyone has an idea on how to do this?

Unfortunately, this a feature of the device, this can not be removed from the handset.
