Remove facebook homepage notification

Hello, Hope I'm at the right place.

I have galaxy S2 and on mu homepage I have the facebook button (blue with the latter F in white.

Now,
I started to get a notification on the facebook icon (I see a red circle with the nuber on the icon itself).

How can I stop that notification?
