Remove or bypass Data Throttle

I am curious about is the infamous "Data Throttle". I assume it is on the server side (virgin Mobile) and I cannot bypass it or somehow disable a data counter or do anything at all about it? I have heard 4G is not throttled, im not sure if thats true or not. I tether alot because we dont have an internet connection at the moment, and 2.5GB comes fast and the speeds after i get throttled are insanely SLOW!!

You are correct, throttling is handled on the carrier side. There have been some attempts to modify or remove proxy settings on the phone in an attempt to bypass throttling, but they have been unsuccessful. As of now there's no known way to bypass throttling.

Throttling is different for every phone, and every company. I was with virgin and found a way to bypass the throttle for over a year, but then they fixed it to where it couldn't be done anymore. Now im with Boost (HTC desire 510) and I managed to evade my throttling (with an unrooted phone) until I was 12gb over my data plan. I used the proxy method of getting my msl and changing the proxy settings. But im unsure if this will work with Virgin or not. The possibility is there considering Sprint owns both boost and virgin.
And yes Virgin's 4g plans also get throttled.

I have looked about for a throttle folder and they have learned our tactics, it is no longer available.
This is an issue of the server side.
Hopefully we can try to develop something that will blindly suck the data without counting.
