I am trying to refresh the music on my Motorola Defy M525. I have removed the MP3 files from the SD card and verifed they are gone based on the space available.
When I seach the phone with ES File Explorer I see listings for 2800+ MP3 files, some duplicated (the reason for the refresh).
I tried to select all and delete, but after process ran there is no change to the search results. I can delete about 8 listing at a time but this takes close to a minute. I have cleared all the caches I can find. Somewhere there must be a file of pointers that still believes all these files exist.
Is there practical way to clear these phantom mp3 listings from the phone so I can reload a clean set of mp3 files?
