Help Remove scratches from my phone's screen.

Hello. I dont know how, but it appears that I scratched my phone a bit, probably when it was in my pocket or something.
So what I have is 2 minor scratches, which are only visible on a white background, for example when im reading a book (yes I read books on a 3")
Its annoying because there are some odd colours around the scratches which makes them really distracting.
Is there any way to remove them? I tried several methods that I found on the internet, vaseline, toothpaste, pencil eraser, but none of those seem to work

Hey, I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but seeing that my phone's forum here is dead, might as well.

welcome to AF!!!!!!!!!

well there are some things available on the internet that i have found, but they are pretty gnarly. all of the most effective tricks have to do with using scratch removers. one used a dremel with a buffering tip. some used the scratch remover and water......so it depends on what level you are willing to fix this issue.

this is why i always get a screen protector. if it gets scratched i can just replace it. with zagg's invishields you can register your purchase and they will give you one replacement shield when needed.

Well I suppose ill learn to live with it and just buy a screen protector to avoid any furthrer scratches, cause if I go buying additional shit it will cost me more than I paid for the phone itself.
Thank you nevertheless

Toothpaste works against fine scratches, but for deep ones, it is not very effective. there are a few youtube videos i saw that proves this.

i saw one video that used various grades of fine sandpaper to remove deep scratches.

just get a screen protector to avoid such injuries to your phone;)
