Root Remove stock lockscreen

Hi guys. I'm a rooted user. Hoping to remove (or at least freeze) the stock lockscreen. I'm not looking for an app (No Lock). And I've tried set up other apps (Widget Locker, Emergency Info) to substitute for the stock LS. But they always seem to get bumped by the stock LS after awhile and/or on reboot. I'd like to just get rid of it permanently. Anyone had luck with this? Thanks.

I agree that some applications are denied or over-run by the stock LS, like PowerAmp. I have never looked into it, but if I were to take a guess, it would be in the framework folder or framework.apk/.jar
It's just a guess.
