Help Remove system advertisements

Heikki K

Lurker
Hello.
I have a tablet called Advance Pr4555 to be "fixed". It belongs to a friend.

It was very slow, so i did "reset" it from the settings menu factory defaults...

Now it works fine but it showed me some advertisements right after selecting the wifi network on the first boot.

How can i remove these advertisements? They show up also when i go to home, when i go to settings... Not always but sometimes...

I think it also tries to install apps that i don't want. Automatically.

While taking the screenshots, i haven't done any installation of any software. I just factory reseted it and went on settings and did nothing, came back to the home screen...

The first one came, and i used the back button to get to the second one.

I tried searching from this forum, without success.
For me this forum feels difficult to browse.

Anyone can post a link to the newest thread on how to install the firmware if i get it from the manufacturer, thanks :)

If the company provides the firmware file, then they should provide instructions and any software tools you might need as well. It might need a PC(Windows) to do it, or it could be as simple as putting the file on an SD and booting the tablet into the recovery. The firmware will be specific to this particular tablet. AFAICT they're in Peru, and I can't read Spanish. AF is an English language forum, and we rarely get anything from South America posted here. However the device itself is very probably of Chinese origin, unknown OEM.

Searching for "Advance Pr4555", all results seem to be in Spanish, so I guess this is a device sold in Peru, etc, and probably why AF doesn't have anything for it.
