Is there a way to remove the voicemail notification icon without having to call and listening to the message first? There is no "clear" button to press when I pull down the notification bar.

As far as my knowledge goes there isn't you don't have to listen to it though, just call your voicemail type in your password and press 7 then end and it should remove the voicemail from your phone and the icon. If you want to keep the voicemail then you gotta listen.
