Sounds like it's on the stock Lenovo recovery, which definitely won't be able to flash AOSP or otherwise custom. So you'll have to find and install the correct custom recovery for Lenovo P780, either TWRP or CWM, or flash it back to stock Lenovo firmware. Can you read Chinese?
