Removing Facebook & Twitter Apps?

Aside from rooting your phone, is there any way to remove the facebook, twitter or some other stock apps? Don't use either services and would rather have the space for something else and clean up my apps list a bit. I'm running unbranded 2.2

Nope, not without Rooting unfortunately.

They won't free much up for you. Shouldn't be a problem if you're running 2.2 anyway. You have apps to SD

I don't think even if you removed them that it would free up any space. Its in /system/app which is part of the ROM itself. That space cannot be re-used for user-installed apps I believe.

Even with 2.2 you're not able to move them to the sd card. Too bad you can't remove them, if nothing else it would have been nice to clean up the apps list.
