Removing FB birthdays from Calendar

I have read a bunch of threads after a search about getting birthdays to show on my calendar, but I actually don't want the birthdays from my facebook friends cluttering up my calendar.

Any ideas on how to remove them or prevent them from getting imported in the first place??

you can disable the facebook calendar in the calendar app. menu>more>calendars>uncheck facebook
