Help Removing HTC apps?

Does it bother anybody else that you can't delete the pre-loaded apps? I don't tweet, will never tweet lol. But damned if I can remove the tweet apps from my list of apps to keep down on clutter. There are several others that can go by the wayside as well, if I could figure out how.

Any help?

If it's a system app, not until the phone is rooted.

yeah I don't get the tweeting thing either, i'd love to delete that along with a TON of other stuff. Just waitin' on Root!

What is everyone waiting for as far as rooting? Is there something that needs to be cracked or figured out? Is there a collaborative space for this effort - Or is it one pizza faced dude in his mom's basement?
