Removing sync prompts from Facebook app

Every time I log in to the facebook app I must first deal with a series of completely obnoxious prompts before it'll connect me. It's literally a 30 second process to log in. Is there a way to bypass this and stop it from prompting me every god damn time? These are what come up:

1st prompt: "Samsung Galaxy S3 would like to post to your friends on your behalf." (What the hell does that even mean? What on earth would it post on my behalf and why?)

2nd prompt: Sync interval settings. Sync calendar option. Sync gallery option.

3rd prompt: Contacts sync (with 3 options)

Please tell me it's not like this for everyone and that I can simply log in without all this bullshit.

I have the exact same problem. And it annoys the hell out of me. So I end up using FB browser version, while having only the Messenger turned on.

What I don't like it about it, is the tricky button, which implies you have no other choice but to confirm.

I did a quick search, but the choice of words is so generic, that I come across lots of totally unrelated posts. And eventually, I gave up.

Perhaps someone will chime in here with some solution to kill that off, permanently :)

cheers

I had the same issue.
I fixed it by:

Accepting the Samsung Message
Allowing full sync

Then when I finally got into facebook I removed all the options from settings inside facebook. The only one I couldn't find was the Samsung thing, but I cleared that from my privacy settings by logging into FB on my PC.

I have the option for Post On Your Behalf for the Samsung Galaxy App to share with Only Me, this option is there as there were two options when setting up Facebook on the phone, one for this was Not Now or Allow, I chose Allow, then went into its settings and changed it from Friends to Only Me, surely now if it decides to post without my knowledge then I will be the only one to see it.

Is this what Posts On Your Behalf means? things like you viewed a video etc? I don't wish others to be able to know what I have been doing privately.
