Help Removing weird apps

Creqaw

Newbie
So yesterday I bought a Galaxy Ace and wanted to try to do a few things. The first thing I tried was flashing (stock firmware to newest), that went well and everything but when the phone rebooted it was in some kind of weird language. Now I managed to change the language but there are 3 apps that are apparently specific to that language and since I can't read what it does, I want to get rid of it. I tried to do this:
Menu
Settings
Applications
Manage Applications
Tap Application to be Deleted
Tap Uninstall
But that didn't work since everything is greyed out, any help?

Root it and buy Root Explorer app (or d/l it whatever you want), google how to remove system apps and you'll get it there :)

I think that I have a problem, I'm on 2.3.4 and there is no root method for it =/
I can't seem to find anything about downgrading either.

The root method for 2.3.3 applies for 2.3.4 too (flashable zip, i.e.)
Oh, I didn't know that, the rooting guide on XDA said the newest FW was 2.3.4 but didn't say anything about rooting so I figured there was no way to do it.
//edit You can't pay with paypal...
Kinda hard to get root explorer like this.
