Repair advice

Hi,

Not sure if anyone on here will be able to help with this but not really sure where else to ask,
Returned my HOX to carphone warehouse at the beginning of last week.
It was sent off to HTC for repair towards the end of last week.
I was informed last night that it could be up to the full 28 days for HTC to repair/replace it.

Im considering trying to get some refund on my monthly bill if it does,

Hmm, doubt you`ll get anywhere I`m afraid, you`ll still have the phone at the end of the contract, but wont hurt to ask though.
HOWEVER, my main reason for replying is that I`m about to send mine back for issues with the GPS being inaccurate and they say it should be with them for about 7 days, so 28 seems a bit extreme in your case?

I was told it would be about that if they could fix it at the carphone repair center but i was also told that screen problems almost always get sent back to HTC.

I was told at the time however that even if it did go back to HTC it would probably be sorted within 14 days,

It was only speaking to them last night that they said it would probably actually be the 28 days. and that they are not respeonsible for how long it is with HTC neither are they able to give me any info on progress whilst its there.

So i think it depends if carphone themselves could sort your GPS problem or if it would have to go back to HTC.
